Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

We couldn’t help but notice, recently, that you’re all obsessed with pickles. Like, really obsessed with them.

There’s something about those vinegary little cucumbers that just get the internet excited, and here at Twisted we’re happy to oblige such a delicious addiction.

That’s why we’re here to tell you to sack off the gin and put the wine back in the cupboard, because pickle vodka is officially a ‘thing’ – and according to TikTok, you can make it yourself really easily, at home.

Yep, you read that right, pickle vodka. What a treat, eh?

We first spotted the concept on TikToker, @barchemistry‘s page.

All he did to make the boozy pickle voddy was pour vodka into a jar of pickles (with the brine removed) and let it soak for 24 hours.

Check out his video below:

As you can see, this TikToker seemed pretty enthused about the result of his pickle vodka experiment.

“I don’t even smell any vodka at all,” he tells the camera. “Which is kinda a good sign.

“Second, the taste…that’s actually really good!,” he adds. “I don’t know if you guys know what a pickle back is, but pickle juice right after you take a shot is the best chaser you could ever have.

“So it makes a lot of sense that this actually tastes kinda tasty.”

There you have it folks. You can hear the full review over on @barchemsitry’s TikTok.

He’s not the last person to mix up pickle vodka, either. In fact, we’ve scrolled across quite a few people trying the combination and being impressed by the results.

User @lutinii was another who was very into the results of her pickley creation. She marinated her pickles for a week, which is much longer than @barchemistry, but she says the results paid off.

She told followers she “couldn’t even find words” for how it tasted.

“Literally could not taste any vodka,” she added, before exclaiming: “Whaaat?”, excitedly.

There are countless other pickle-voddy videos on TikTok (trust us, we’ve watched them all), but essentially the concept is the same for them all.

Just soak those bad boys for a day minimum, but the longer the better (this TikToker left his a whole month), and then voila! You’ve got yourself a pickley tipple.

We’d suggest drinking this alongside BBQ food, seeing as the flavour combo is a tried and tested one, but honestly, drink it however you want – as long as it’s responsibly, obvs.

Oh, and you’ve gotta eat all the boozy pickles afterwards, right? Each one will be like a shot in their own right.

Brb, we’re off to make a jug of this immediately.
