People are making S’mores Crunchwraps on TikTok and they’re so easy

In case you haven’t noticed, crunchwraps are all the rage on TikTok at the moment.

You may have had one yourself in Taco Bell once upon a time, but now you don’t even need to leave the house to sample the fast-food delicacy for yourself. All you need is a wrap, your favourite filling and a trusty frying pan.

In Taco Bell, you’d typically see a crunchwrap packed full of Mexican inspired ingredients, like seasoned meat, black beans, nacho sauce and salsa.

But now TikTok has got its hand on it, the dish has well and truly evolved. Introducing… the s’mores crunchwrap.

One of the first people to share the dish on TikTok was user, @gina_mrqz, and it didn’t take long before the vid’ racked up over 50,000 likes.

She made her crunchwrap using peanut butter, Hershey’s chocolate, mini marshmallows and Graham Crackers – the type typically used to make S’mores in the US. If you’re in the UK, you can find similar here.  

All she does is layer all of the ingredients on top of the wrap and then fold the edges inwards around the ingredients, so that they’re completely covered.

Then, heat butter in a frying pan and cook the crunchwrap on both sides until hard, dust with sugar and you’re good to go.

There are loads of variations of this s’mores crunchwrap on TikTok today. A slight variation on @gina_mrqz’s recipe, user @imhungryforthat make theirs with Nutella, Marshmallow Fluff and Graham Crackers.

Of course, as is the case with any TikTok recipe, these recipes aren’t refined, or finessed. They’re messy, gooey, calorific mouthfuls – and sometimes that’s just what the doctor ordered.

You’re not going to win a Michelin star with one of these, but it’s a super-easy winner when the chocolate craving hits.
