Ben and Jerry’s is giving away inflatable floats so you can eat ice cream in the bath

Once you get over the realisation that you’re marinating in your own filth, baths are pretty awesome. Even if an errant bit of belly button fluff floats past your nose, soaking in a hot cocoon of bubbles is so relaxing that you probably won’t care one jot. However, just because baths are lovely, doesn’t mean that they can’t be improved. Enter, Ben and Jerry’s.

Vermont’s finest have come up with a novel way to combine de-stressing and desserting, with a giveaway that will have bathlovers everywhere reaching for the tap. To celebrate its classic Cherry Garcia flavour joining the brand’s lower calorie lineup, Ben and Jerry’s are offering free inflatable tub holders, allowing you to suspend your ice cream in the bath. As if you needed another excuse to spark up the candles and put on your spa playlist.

According to the official Ben and Jerry’s website:

Obviously, there are a few practicalities to consider, not least of which is the fact that hot bathwater and cold ice cream aren’t necessarily natural bedfellows. However, the idea of delicious Cherry Garcia drifting around your knees on its own island makes any issues seem totally redundant. Needless to say, we’re all onboard.
