Cheetos Mac ‘n’ Cheese pots are officially about to hit stores

Making mac and cheese the old fashioned way might be delicious, but it’s also a faff. When you need something hot and gooey stat, you don’t really want to spend hours crafting a perfectly smooth white sauce from scratch. Sometimes you just need it all ready to go. 

To answer the prayers of anyone who has been longing for their favourite comfort foods to be faster than ever, everyone’s favourite cheetah themed corn chip has come up with a way to deliver flavour almost instantly. Coming soon to a supermarket near you, new Cheetos mac ‘n’ cheese pots really put the “fast” in fast food. 

Set to drop at select locations on August 8th, the latest innovation from the Cheetos kitchen comes in three delicious flavours, each promising to pack a punch. The new treats will be available in “Bold & Cheesy”, “Flamin’ Hot”, and “Cheddar Jalapeño”, meaning that there’s something to suit every palate. 

According to the description of the new products on the Walmart website, Cheetos mac ‘n’ cheese will “hit the spot with each and every bite”, as well as “Spice up your everyday mac and cheese”.

Excited previews have also made their way onto social media, with popular Instagrammer @snackgator declaring:

“You aren’t dreaming, this is a real thing, and it’s glorious! These are on the Walmart website, so we know they’ll be in store there pretty soon. They come in three flavors: Bold & Cheesy, Cheesy Jalapeño, and Flamin’ Hot. 

“Even better, they suggest several #CheetosMacHack ideas to crumble different Cheetos products over these super cheesy meals. UHHHHH – YUM! Which one are you trying first?”

The packets are expected to initially be available as a Walmart exclusive, before getting a nationwide release in 2021. These have been pretty dark times for the food industry generally, but it’s good to know that there are still delicious cheesy rays of sunshine bursting through the gloom.
