Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

Combining cereal and ice cream might sound like the fever dream of a sugar-crazed 11-year-old, but this dream is about to become delicious reality.

According to multiple reports from across the internet, iconic cereal brand Cinnamon Toast Crunch is now available in frozen pints, complete with actual chunks of the early morning favourite. Never has the line between dessert and breakfast been so blurred.

The new tubs have been positively identified by popular Instagrammers The Junk Food Aisle and Candy Hunting, who shared snaps of the ice cream to their channel. As Candy Hunting explained in the caption:

“New Cinnamon Toast Crunch ice cream will be out soon! This is made by Nestlé under the Edy’s/Dreyer’s brand. It has a cinnamon flavored base with a cinnamon graham swirl and cereal pieces.”

Predictably, this news prompted rapturous responses from both channel’s fanbases. One commenter wrote under the Candy Hunting caption, “OH I AM HERE FOR THIS,” while another added, “The coffee creamer is so good I bet the ice cream will be amazing.”

However, despite the furore around the new flavour, there do seem to be some caveats. As Delish explained in their own report, there is no news yet on exactly when the ice cream is set to drop, or where it will be available.

Meanwhile, The Junk Food Aisle website states that “A product listing for this was found online, with a photo, but [with] no further information such as a release date,” and encourages followers to “stay tuned!” It looks like, for the time being, our excitement over extra-sugary breakfasts will have to be tempered ever so slightly while we wait for further updates.
