Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

It’s easy for a new crisp flavour to get lost in the noisy world of snack news, but when Pringles are involved, it always seems to make a splash. This is with good reason. Not for nothing do people regularly compare the legendary curved potato chip to crack cocaine – in the best way possible. And now, fans have not one, but two new flavours to get excited about. Crispmas has come early.

As part of an extensive new snack release, Pringles’ parent company Kellogs revealed that both “Parmesan & Roasted Garlic” and “Rotisserie Chicken” flavours are about to be added to the brands roster. According to Baking Business, the two new creations are designed to “build on the brand’s ‘flavor stacking’ marketing campaign that encourages consumers to mix and match Pringles crisps to create new flavor combinations.” Sounds like all the excuse we need to stock up on snacks.

According to Ami O’Keefe, senior commercial strategy manager for convenience at Kellogg Co, the new combinations are crucial to enjoying the crisps to the max. As she put it, “We’re calling them our new ‘stackworthy’ flavors — it’s chicken parm. For Pringles, it’s a brand that’s known for having a lot of flavor variety. We always want to keep bringing new news there and keeping consumers engaged.”

While there’s no word yet on precisely when the new Pringles will hit shelves, some have been lucky enough to get an early taste. Popular Instagram account @candyhunting wrote that:

“New Rotisserie Chicken and Parmesan & Roasted Garlic Pringles will be out soon! Kellogg’s suggests stacking the two flavors to create chicken parmesan. The Rotisserie Chicken flavor is ok, but that Parmesan flavor is killer. It’s easily in my top five favorite Pringles flavors.”

Here’s hoping that the snacks arrive sooner rather than later.
