Summer might still be in full swing, but there is such a thing as too much sun. If you, like me, burn as easily as a kerosene-soaked creme brulée, you may well be yearning for the soggy, chilly embrace of autumn. 

Unfortunately, of course, we fair folk are going to have to spend a few months at least plastered in factor 50 like the targets of an overenthusiastic custard pie attack. You could be forgiven for feeling a little demoralised about the situation. Thank goodness we now have a way to channel the autumnal spirit as we stare angrily at the sun.

Proving that it’s never too early to get your pumpkin spice hype on, legendary hot chocolate makers Swiss Miss have pulled out all the stops with their latest release. Combining two of everyone’s favourite post-summer treats, the all-American cocoa brand has come up with a blend of both hot chocolate and pumpkin spice mix. Starbucks, eat your heart out.

According to a report by Popsugar, the limited edition fall-flavoured drink mix will be available from September, although there is already a listing for the product on Amazon. According to the official product description:

Popsugar claims that the tasty-sounding treat will be available at retailers including Walmart and Target for around $2. Even if we have a month to wait, there’s no such thing as being over prepared where pumpkin spice is concerned. We’ll see you in the queue.
