You can now get a bag of only Lucky Charms marshmallows

Like any cereal made up of many constituent bits, there are some things that are more exciting than others about a bowl of Lucky Charms. No one leaps out of bed in order to sink their teeth into a spoonful of oat pieces. Mix bland grains with marshmallow, however, and you’ve got something worth sacrificing an extra few minutes of sleep for. 

Now, to the relief of anyone who’s sick of sifting through cereal for a hit of sugary goodness, Lucky Charms manufacturers General Mills has made an exciting announcement. No longer will you have to bother with the boring stuff – you can now skip straight to the good bit with a bag of just Lucky Charms marshmallows. 

Dubbed “Just Magical Marshmallows”, the new product has been spotted in stores across the United States, with many shoppers taking to Instagram to share their reviews of the new release. 

The news first broke two days ago, when Instagram account @saturday_morning_nostalgia uploaded a photo of both the marshmallow bag and a filled bowl, along with the caption:

“Found in a @foodcitygrocery in Knoxville by yours truly, you can now purchase all Marshmallow Lucky Charms in this super rare all Marshmallow pack.

“This six ounce package, contains nothing but the marshmallow goodness you know and love!! Dreams really do come true and I can’t believe this incredible find!”

According to a press release provided by the brand:

“Lucky Charms Marshmallow-Only boxes have been offered through popular promotions in the past, but this is the first time Just Magical Marshmallows are available for purchase nationwide at select retailers. The special 6 oz. pouch features all eight of your favorite charms and is currently available for a limited time, while supplies last, with a suggested retail price of $3.99. The Just Magical Marshmallows will become more widely available in September.”

As Mindy Murray, senior brand experience manager for Lucky Charms, explained:

“Lucky Charms is the only magical marshmallow cereal and I’m so excited to see that families across the country helped bring the magic back. To thank our fans for helping us restore this magic, we’re celebrating the launch of the Just Magical Marshmallows with a spectacle that embodies the magic of Lucky Charms.”

Looks like breakfast just became the most important meal of the day all over again.
