Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

In the current climate, we could all use a little extra comfort. Now that the weather’s starting to turn, we finally have an excuse to hunker down with something snuggly and binge-watch 18 hours of Netflix without leaving the lounge. God, how I love winter.

Naturally, if you plan on moving as little as possible over the next six months, you’re going to need all the right accessories. Fortunately for fans who really want to put the “comfort” in comfort food, the world’s most famous fast-food franchise has a ready-made, super-soft solution.

Ideal for anyone who needs a superfluous but welcome layer of fluff for their upcoming movie marathon, McDonald’s has created an all-new body pillow design. Measuring a whopping 36 inches, what makes this pillow extra exciting isn’t the high thread count or plush interior, but the fact that it’s shaped like a giant McNugget. Snoozilicious.

Costing $90, the incredibly realistic McNugget pillow is actually just part of a whole new range of merchandise. Together with American rapper Travis Scott, the Golden Arches have given the go-ahead on a variety of clothing and added extras, including shirts, hoodies, hats and rugs, all under the new “Cactus Jack” label.

Fans can also get lunch boxes, basketballs and special lunch trays from the Cactus Jack online store, making it the ideal place to pick up a gift for Maccies-obsessed friends and family.

As part of the collaboration, McDonald’s have also introduced a Travis Scott meal to the menu – the first such celebrity appearance since Michael Jordan in the 90s. The meal itself features a “fresh beef Quarter Pounder with Cheese, sizzling bacon, and crisp lettuce; medium World Famous Fries with BBQ Sauce to dip, and a Sprite,” according to a press release.

In a statement accompanying the collaboration announcement, McDonald’s U.S. Chief Marketing Officer, Morgan Flatley revealed:

“Everyone has a favorite McDonald’s meal, no matter who you are. Travis is a true McDonald’s fan having grown up visiting our restaurants in Houston, not to mention one of the biggest musical acts and cultural icons in the world.

“This is the first time in nearly 30 years we’ve introduced a superstar’s name to our menu – we’re excited to bring the Travis Scott Meal to a McDonald’s near you starting next week.”

Even if you’re a fan of beef burger, for our money nothing beats the prospect of a McNugget pillow.
