Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

As anyone who’s ever ended up clutching their stomach after a run-in with a bowl of raw batter knows, there’s nothing better in the kitchen than cookie dough that you can actually eat.

Of course, we can all agree that cookies are almost always better before they go into the oven – it’s just that the bowel shattering consequences of licking a coated spoon can sometimes taint the deliciousness. Anything that keeps the flavour while avoiding the toilet is to be celebrated.

Food manufacturers are, of course, aware of how much we all enjoy scraping the sides of a sugary, eggy mixing bowl, which is why there is now no shortage of edible cookie dough options on supermarket shelves. Few, however, have dared to do something as exciting as the latest release from Nestlé Toll House.

Check out the official recipe for Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Dough:

Much to the excitement of impatient cookie lovers everywhere, the big-name baking brand has unveiled the latest addition to its line-up in the form of chocolate-covered cookie dough bites. As if the prospect of chocolate-covered cookie dough wasn’t already exciting enough, the treats are set to be available in giant “sharing” bags, although sharing could be at a minimum if they live up to expectations. Absolutuetetttttt

According to a report by Delish, the packets are slated to drop in October, exclusively at Sam’s Club locations before a wider rollout. Each 20oz pack will set you back just $9.98, meaning there’s very little excuse not to stock up.

As per a press release provided by Nestlé Toll House:

“These delicious, perfectly poppable bites make it easy to enjoy edible Nestlé Toll House cookie dough in snackable form. A combination of ready-to-eat chocolate chip cookie dough and a chocolatey shell, this treat is made with ingredients you can trust and includes no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives.”

We’ll see you in the Sam’s Club queue.
