You can now get Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut peanut butter spread

There is no better breakfast cereal than Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut. Period. Even if the alternative is a plateful of beans, fat sausages, eggs and toast, you’d be hard-pressed to turn down a sticky-sweet bowl of crisp, honey-drenched shards. When something can compete with bacon for the best way to start the day, you know it’s got some serious credentials.

The only downside to the ludicrous tastiness of Crunchy Nut is that it’s quite a samey experience. A bowlful is still, obviously, delicious, but it’s easy for one breakfast to blur into the next when everything tastes identically awesome. Perhaps this is why the Crunchy Nut creatives decided that they needed to shake things up. 

In the best thing to happen to breakfast since sliced bread, you can now get your hands on specially blended Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut peanut butter. Containing the cereal’s signature combination of honey and peanuts, the spread promises to up the ante for morning condiments everywhere, while still delivering on what we all love about the original.

In a statement released alongside the exciting new announcement, Kate Stokes, senior brand manager at Kellogg’s UK commented:

“Since launching in 1980, the popularity of Crunchy Nut has grown and grown and it is regularly hailed as the UK’s favourite cereal.

“Knowing its popularity, we wanted to explore a new avenue and it’s been great to work with Duerr’s to bring the UK Crunchy Nut Peanut Butter. We hope that all of the Crunchy Nut fans out there are as excited as we are.’’
