N'Duja Honey Butter

We mean, just think about it. N'duja honey butter. Three words that make us weak at the knees.

Ingredients

  • 500gbutter
  • 150gn'duja
  • 1 tbsphoney
  • 1 tsp lemon zest

There are so many potential uses for this. In the video, we show you how to toss them with roasted carrots and serve them on a bed of yoghurt. But you could pour it over hummus, or over fish grilled over charcoal. So many uses, so little time.

Method

  • Add all the ingredients to a food processor (sorry, you kind of need one for this - or you could you an electric whisk or stick blender and really soften the butter).
  • Process until completely combined, then wrap up in baking paper and chill until solid.
  • Slice off and use however you wish! In the video we pan roasted some carrots, added a little stock and reduced it all then finally tossed through the butter.
  • What do you think of the recipe?

He likes fish, things cooked on charcoal, cheap dinners and London's rich cultural tapestry of food shops. When he's not cooking or eating he can be found mudlarking by the river Thames, buying bits in flea markets and hanging out with his cat Keith.
