Ingredients

  • 2 x 80g patties beef mince, 10% fat
  • (whole jar) loads of dill pickles
  • 2 slices burger cheese
  • 1 brioche buns
  • to taste burger sauce

Here at twisted, we love a pickle. We love them with chocolate, we love them in ice cream, heck we even just love them sliced and in a burger. As in, we REALLY like them sliced and put in a burger.

Method

  • If you can, get a really big cast iron griddle as it makes cooking burgers for a crowd SO much easier. Season the patties and drain the pickles.
  • Roll the patties into a ball shape and place them onto the griddle, then put a handful of pickles on each and smash them into the pan, using your body weight to really smear the patty. Use a gentle twist an lift motion to release the squisher.
  • Flip when the burger patties are grey with a few spots of pink and cover with burger cheese, then remove them from the heat. Assemble with brioche buns (toasted of course), burger sauce and of course more pickles.
  • What do you think of the recipe?
