Ingredients

  • 5 potatoes
  • 2 litrefrying oil

And other compulsory spooky frite jokes. All of them fritefully bad.

Method

  • Cut the potatoes into 1 cm thick slices and use spooky Halloween cutters to cut out various spooky shapes.
  • Wash the potatoes and very briefly blanch them in 80 degree water. Put them on paper towels to dry them out.
  • Heat the oil to 140°C and deep fry until they are just golden, then leave to cool for at least 30 minutes. Preferably, freeze them overnight!
  • Heat the oil to 180°C and deep fry for a further 5 minutes or until deeply crispy and golden. Serve forth.
  • What do you think of the recipe?
