Turkey Twizzlers, but not as you remember them.. Instead of 40 ingredients and barely any meat, these are made with spiced turkey mince, twizzled onto skewers, grilled till juicy, and brushed with a sticky honey sriracha glaze. Wrapped up in a warm flatbread with crunchy slaw and sriracha mayo.
Combine turkey mince, grated onion, garlic, spices, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well until tacky.
Soak wooden skewers for 20 minutes if using. Roll a portion of mince into a sausage, then coil it around a skewer in a twizzle shape. Chill for 20 minutes to firm up.
Grill the twizzlers under a hot grill (or on a barbecue) for 12–15 minutes, turning, until golden and cooked through.
Mix honey, sriracha, sesame oil, and lime or rice vinegar. Brush generously over the twizzlers in the last 2 minutes of cooking, then sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Toss shredded cabbage, carrot, chilli, spring onions and coriander with lime juice, rice vinegar, sugar, oil, and salt. Leave to sit while the meat cooks.
Stir together mayo, sriracha, and a splash of lime or rice vinegar until smooth.
Warm flatbreads, spread with sriracha mayo, pile on the slaw, top with turkey twizzlers, drizzle with extra glaze, and finish with coriander and spring onions.
