McDonald's is bringing its Shamrock Shake to the UK for the first time, after a hell of a lot of hype overseas.
Just in time for St Patrick's Day, the popular green milkshake will be landing in Maccies branches on 12th March – but not for long!
The milkshake is made with a peppermint-flavoured syrup which comes blended with a creamy milkshake base, and it has become somewhat of a global phenomenon.

The Shamrock Shake will only be available in UK McDonald's restaurants until the 25th March, and when it’s gone, it’s gone!
Some might remember that the Grimace Shake was a sellout last year, so you'd better believe Maccies when they warn this one will disappear quick.
We've asked McDonald's HQ the price of the shake, and will update you when we have it.
What we do know, though, is that participating restaurants will donate 20p from Shamrock Shake sales to Ronald McDonald House Charities UK. Win, win.

The shake was invented in 1967 by Connecticut McDonald’s owner, Hal Rosen, and was such a favourite that it ended up rolling out across the States, in what Maccies branded an “instant success”.
Believe it or not, 2012 was the first time the drink got a full, nationwide rollout, despite already having been around for more than 50 years.
For years, UK punters have been watching on with envy as there has been no sign of the shake on our menus.
This is because different Maccies markets vary the products on their menus – in fact, you can find something unique in pretty much every McDonald’s around the world.
But now we can finally get in on the action, too, as the powers that be have decided it's time to give us a try.

It's not the only new addition to McDonald's menus, as landing slightly sooner will also be some new menu items, too.
As of next week, you'll be able to get your hands on the Philly Cheese Stack (made with crispy onions, cheese sauce and cheese slices, in a toasted bun), and the McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse, which is your classic McCrispy but with smoky BBQ sauce and cheese.
The Katsu Chicken One is also arriving, which will fill a warm tortilla with your choice of crispy or grilled chicken, coated in flavourful katsu sauce, packed with crispy onions, crunchy cucumber, and fresh lettuce.
To snack alongside any of these there will be mozzarella dippers with salsa dip.
And for pud? Either a Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie or a Mars McFlurry.
What a time to be alive, ay?
