Aldi is selling Pina Colada Ballycastle creme liqueur

You'd be forgiven for thinking that creme liqueurs are just for Christmas, but you'd be oh so mistaken!

Aldi are here to prove that once and for all with their brand new truly tropical creme liqueur, which is flavoured like Piña Colada.

The limited edition tipple is part of the budget supermarket's Country Cream range, and is perfect to sip with ice during the warmer months.

Available in stores and via Click & Collect now, it's a must to wow your friends at a garden party, or even just to enjoy on your own, when the sun's out.

Costing £7.49 for 70cl, the drink has the pineapple and coconut flavour you'd expect from a Piña Colada cocktail, with the addition of Ballycastle's cream.

If you wanna stock up on the new drink, we'd suggest being quick, as it won't be around forever.

Previous smash hits in the Aldi hall of fame include their Creme Egg flavoured bottle of creme liqueur, and a Tiramisu creme liqueur, both of which absolutely flew off shelves when they launched.

For now, though, if Piña Colada aint your thing, you'll have to settle for Aldi's (very lovely) classic Country Cream liqueur, which is a blend of double cream and alcohol, with chocolate and vanilla flavouring.

At the slightly lower price of £5.79, the bottle is still drastically cheaper than other creme liqueur brands on the market (the leading brand retails at around £17).

So, it's pretty much a no brainer that you should stock up and have some in the house...

In other Aldi news, the supermarket recently announced the return of its coveted BBQ pizza oven, too.

Designed to sit on top of a regular barbecue (gas or charcoal is fine), the pizza oven is super compact and takes up less room in your garage then a bulky alternative.
