Do you like your McDonald’s saucy? Like, really saucy?!
Well, McDonald’s is dropping Big Mac sauce dip cups in the US, so you can dunk your burger into the condiment until your heart is content.
Starting April 27th, for a limited time, the Big Mac sauce dip cups will be landing at participating restaurants across the U.S.
You can only get your hands on one by ordering on the McDonald’s App, and they won’t be around forever, so if you reside in the States we suggest heading to your local Golden Arches the second the promo goes live.
The dipping cups come in a retro blue and silver packaging inspired by the OG Big Mac sandwich wraps.
McDonald’s said in a release:”The Big Mac has been an icon on the McDonald’s menu since it first debuted nationally in 1968, after an Owner/Operator in Pittsburgh, PA came up with the idea for a double burger sandwich.
“And the fandom for the Big Mac has only grown with time… expanding to menus across the globe, creating social media craze when 10,000 bottles of Big Mac sauce were given away in the U.S. in 2017, and who could forget the classic ‘two all-beef patties…’ jingle we’re all still singing?”
The sauce – described as “creamy, tangy, slightly sweet and perfectly dippable” is going to be available at no extra cost with any Chicken McNuggets purchase.
It can also be ordered alongside other McDonald’s menu items, because, let’s face it, nobody should police what items are dunk-able (the answer is everything).
There was recently a similar promotion over in Canada, and it went down a storm.
Whilst there is no current plan to bring the promotion over to the UK (sorry folks), what you may not remember is that we have actually seen the same Big Mac dipping sauces over here in the past.
Back in 2020, Maccies offered the deal to us, with Big Mac dipping sauces selling for 50p a pop for a limited six week run.
McDonald’s previously offered up Big Mac sauce dipping cups in Australia for a short stint, too, so they’re clearly aware it’s a winning formula.
Petition to bring dipping cups back to McDonald’s ASAP.
