McDonald's launches new chilli double cheeseburger – and it's a bargain

McDonald's is bringing a brand new burger to menus, and it comes at a bargain price, too.

The Chilli Double Cheeseburger is landing in Maccies stores on November 6th, and it'll cost just £2.49 to get your hands on one.

The burger is totally new here in the UK, but it's been a star of McDonald's South Africa's menu before.

The cheeseburger has two British and Irish beef patties, two slices of cheese, onions and pickles, alongside a spicy relish and jalapeños for a firey hit in a toasted bun.

Sounds like a winner, and over in South Africa, the reviews are glowing.

"McDonald’s Chilli cheese double is hands down the best burger to ever exist," said one person on Twitter.

While another also shared the love, but wished it was bigger.

"The chilli cheese double is way too good to be that small," they said.

The burger is launching amid efforts from Maccies to mix up its savers range.

McDonald's has been throwing out so many new menu items recently, including the iconic McRib after a 10 year hiatus from menus.

The new breakfast release have "the same golden crunch and fluffy potato goodness in a new and fun style."

McDonald's promise: "Each mini hash brown is made to deliver the same irresistible crispy exterior and soft, fluffy interior that we have all come to love."
