Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

McDonald’s has announced the arrival of six new items on its menu – and there are some corkers returning.

Anyone who is a fan of the Grand Big Mac will be happy to know that its making a limited comeback in a menu shake-up which comes into force tomorrow (February 15th).

Available for £4.89 or £6.49 as a meal, the Grand Big Mac is basically the same as a Big Mac, which features 100 percent beef patties, a slice of cheese, lettuce, onion and pickles and Maccies sauce in a sesame-topped bun.

The difference is, all the components are bigger than your classic Big Mac. Can’t argue with that, can you?

If you want to elevate your order further, you can also order a Grand Big Mac with bacon (£5.69 or £7.29 a part of a meal).

Plus, the Golden Arches will also be bringing back their popular Chilli Cheese Bites – result! These oozy mouthfuls come in a batter, with a rich tomato dip on the side, and will set you back £2.29 for a single portion or £6.29 for a share-box.

All of these items will available for just six weeks, so you won’t have long to get your hands on them.

Alongside these returning favourites, you might remember us telling you that the McSpicy is also back – although, unlike the rest of the menu, this one’s not going anywhere.

The new permanent addition is made with a spicy chicken breast fillet, topped with crunchy cool lettuce and mayo and squeezed into a toasted sesame seed bun, and will set customers back £4.79, or £6.29 if ordered as a meal.

Naturally, no new menu would be complete without dessert, either.

That’s why Maccies has brought back the Galaxy chocolate and Galaxy Caramel McFlurry. Oh, they do treat us well.

Both ice creams are selling at £1.99 for a regular pot or £1.49 for mini, and are made out of the brand’s much loved soft dairy ice cream with either chocolate or caramel sauce slathered on top.

As is always the way with a McDonald’s menu shake-up, the new additions mean that we are going to have to say goodbye to some other limited faves.

As a result, the Spicy Sriracha Chicken wraps will no longer be on offer, and neither will the Big Tasty burgers (with or without bacon).

Cheesy Garlic Bites and Aero Peppermint McFlurries will also be dropping off the menu for now, as will two hot drinks: the Caramel Waffle Latte and the Hot Chocolate Deluxe.

Good job we’ve got some bangers in their place, ey?
