Papa Johns launches a pepperoni stuffed-crust pizza

Are you a lover of all things meaty?

Well, you’ll be pleased to hear that there’s now a way you can order a pepperoni pizza with even more sausage on it.

That’s because Papa John’s has just announced the arrival of its pepperoni stuffed crust, which sees your standard pizza crust filled with melted mozzarella cheese and spicy slices of pepperoni.

The crust isn’t the only new launch for Papa John’s, which also announced the arrival of its pepperoni perfection pizza, made with a signature tomato base, mozzarella cheese and slices of pepperoni and (of course), the pepperoni stuffed crust for good measure.

Sarah Widdison, Senior National Marketing Manager at Papa John’s UK said: “We know that pepperoni is a favourite amongst our customers, so we’re delighted to expand our offering by adding the new Pepperoni stuffed crust and Pepperoni perfection pizza to menus this autumn.

“After a successful launch in the US, we’re excited to launch the Pepperoni Stuffed Crust in stores across the UK.”

Papa Johns is no stranger to a quirky stuffed crust, having previously launched a crust filled with Branston pickle. 

The menu launch saw the pizza chain adding everyone’s favourite Ploughman’s filling into their dough, to the absolute delight of pickle lovers everywhere.

And that’s not all, the fast food giant has also launched a Marmite stuffed crust in the past, too.
