Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

Pizza Hut has officially launched its biggest ever slices, which sit as part of its New Yorker range.

Yup, we hope you’re hungry, because the beloved pizza joint is now pushing an XXL sized pie (that come sin at 16 inches), which cuts into six whopping big slices.

Typically, a large Pizza Hut pizza comes with 12 slices, so you’re getting a slice at double the size, but the price isn’t so hefty.

Available in Margarita and Pepperoni flavours, with an added option to  ‘create your own’ pizza with any two toppings, you can bag the new New Yorker pizzas for £15.99 via delivery, or £13.99 via collection.

They’re for sale from today (Monday 24th July) at select Pizza Hut stores for dine in and delivery, and offer enough food to feed your pals or your family for under 20 quid.

Winner!

The pizzas are being launched to coincide with the release of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie, where you’ll see identical pies being consumed.

And to celebrate the collab, their boxes feature Ninja Turtle artwork on them, in a nod to the film.

Hazell White, Head of Brand and Innovation at Pizza Hut said: “We’ve always had a close link to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and so excited to be launching The Big New Yorker, the same pizza in the movie, in our restaurants at a budget-busting £13.99!”

It comes after Pizza Hut previously broke a Guinness World Record for creating a massive pizza – labelled the world’s biggest ever.

The 13,990-square-foot pizza consisted of 13,653lbs of dough, 4,948lbs of pizza sauce, over 8,800lbs of cheese, and a staggering 630,496 slices of pepperoni.

And its immense size equated to more than 68,000 slices! To put that into context, the world record for most slices eaten was set in 2018 when a man called Geoffrey Esper ate 83 slices in just 10 minutes. (Which is still just around 0.12 percent of what was accomplished here.)

Now, we’d like to see that cut into slices…
