Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

Put your sunglasses away and grab a turtle neck, because Starbucks’ autumn menu is officially back.

That’s right, pumpkin spice lattes return to the menu today (Thursday 1st September), alongside a whole bunch of new PS variations.

In case you aren’t familiar with the drink, the PSL is espresso mixed with steamed milk and a pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove spice mix.

There’s also the option to add whipped cream and more pumpkin pie flavourings.

The PSL comes alongside the addition of a brand new pumpkin cream cold brew, which is already a popular drink over in the US.

The drink is basically a Starbucks cold brew, infused with vanilla and autumnal pumpkin cream foam, alongside a pumpkin spice topping for good measure.

Speaking of the new addition, Just Cluysenaer, Starbucks’ Food and Beverage Director, said: “Each year, our customers eagerly anticipate the return of the PSL, knowing that it officially marks the change in season.

“We’ve already made great advances in cold coffee innovation, and with a growing number of our customers drinking their coffee iced all year round, this year we are delighted to introduce a new iced, pumpkin beverage.

“Combining two of our customer’s favourite tastes, iconic pumpkin spice and our refreshing cold brew, each sip of pumpkin cream cold brew will deliver the familiar, creamy flavour of pumpkin spice followed by the uplifting coffee flavour of Starbucks cold brew”.

In case you weren’t a fan of the PSL, the new Starbucks menu also sees the return of the iced salted maple and caramel latte.

If you’re heading to Starbucks for any of the following today, then you might as well apply to this gig, too.

A company is looking to pay someone £300 to sample all the best autumnal drinks in the UK and give their feedback on the best ones.

The gig comes from clothing brand Pour Moi, which is hiring a ‘Pumpkin Spice Latte Tester’. You can read more about that here.
