You can win a giant tube of Krispy Kreme Heart-Shaped Doughnuts for Valentine’s Day

Nothing says “I love you” like something enormous, heart-shaped and extremely calorific. This year, premier doughnut providers Krispy Kreme have taken things up a level.

New for 2021, the pastry specialists have teamed up with another iconic sweet treat to deliver Krispy Kreme Love Heart-flavoured doughnuts.

This news is obviously already pretty exciting. However, for sweet-toothed fans, the fun doesn’t stop there, as you can also officially win a giant tube of the treats to celebrate with on February 14th.

If you’ve been longing to mix fizzy sweets, romance and your favourite doughnuts, this news might just be a dream come true.

Free Krispy Kreme Love Hearts doughnuts

According to a recent post on the Krispy Kreme UK Twitter account, fans have until midnight tonight (February 2nd) to enter the competition.

The rules of entry are actually incredibly straightforward. Would-be winners simply have to go the Krispy Kreme competition thread on Twitter, tag someone you’d share the prize with, follow both Krispy Kreme and Love Hearts on social media and retweet the original message.

At the time of writing, the message has only been retweeted 1,000 times. This suggests that you may well be in with a reasonable chance of winning.

Love Hearts doughnut collaboration

The new doughnuts come in four distinct designs – each of which combines Krispy Kreme’s unique pastry with Love Hearts’ signature fizzy flavour and messaging.

According to a press release provided by the company, the four flavours are as follows:

• Green – with a chocolate kreme filling, topped with a green colour icing and a Love Hearts phrase.
• Pink – with a strawberry and sherbet kreme filling, topped with strawberry flavour icing and a Love Hearts phrase. 
• Yellow – with a lemon and sherbet kreme filling, topped with lemon flavour icing and a Love Hearts 
• Purple – with a sherbet kreme filling, topped with a purple sherbet icing and a Love Hearts phrase.

The doughnuts cost £2.25 individually when purchased in store. Alternatively, customers can also enjoy them as part of the £13.95 Valentine’s Dozen gift box.

Speaking as part of the announcement, Louise Direito Krispy Kreme UK and Ireland’s Head of Innovation said:

The exciting new flavours are currently available for takeaway and delivery from Krispy Kreme stores across the country.

However, it should be noted that there are only a limited number of the treats available, so you should move fast if you want to get a taste. Given this, the free competition could be the perfect excuse to give them a go.
