This McDonald’s serves stone baked pizza and we’re so jealous

People have been left stunned after a TikToker unearthed some of the food items sold in the “world’s biggest” McDonald’s…

Posting to TikTok, Katie Ellison, also known by her username @katie_ellison, took a video of her family trip to one of Florida’s star attractions: McDonald’s.

Now, we know what you’re thinking, a McDonald’s is a McDonald’s right?

But in this case, it’s not.

Yup, this Orlando-based establishment isn’t just any old fast food branch, as it also sells menu items that you can’t find everywhere else in the world.

Long gone are the days of Big Macs or Spicy Chicken Nuggets, not when you can get stone-baked pizza and build-your-own pasta dishes.

Get ready to turn green with envy…

The TikToker’s video showed that she opted for a ham-topped pizza as well as pasta containing tomato sauce and a sprinkle of cheese – because, let’s face it, when are you gonna get the opportunity to try ’em again? 

In the video, the pasta is served in a “bowl [with a] proper fork and knife” and that the dish came with “a little bit of garlic bread as well.”

Not only that, but the building featured an arcade with multiple games, as well as colourful slides for children – or adults, we’re not here to judge.

It might sounds pretty epic, but in the spirit of giving an honest review, we should tell you that the TikToker wasn’t too fond of the pasta, describing the sauce as “a bit watery”. 

She did enjoy the pasta, though, giving it a positive review.

Taking to social media after seeing the unique Maccies items, it’s safe to say that people had some thoughts. 

Some people were all about the Italian additions, whilst others weren’t so sure about ordering pizza or pasta from a Maccies.

“You went to the worlds biggest Mcondalds and you got a PIZZA… a PIZZA and pasta,” one wrote.

“I can’t explain this, but that’s how I’d picture Mcds pasta,” another added, clearly unimpressed.

Not everyone agreed though, with some sharing that they had also tried the menu items, and were fans. 

“I’ve been… [it’s] amazing,” claimed one user, to which the TikToker agreed.

For those of you that are interested in trying any of the unique items on this menu, this branch is located on International Drive in Florida, less than a mile south of Universal Orlando Resorts.

Don’t get us wrong, if we wanted a pizza or a plate of penne, McDonald’s wouldn’t be our first port of call.

But would we try it? Abso-bloody-lutely.
