Pizza vending machines have popped up in London

Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

What’s better than pizza? Pizza in five minutes, that’s what.

Yup, in case you wanted to get your pizza fill in record time, without speaking to another human being, Revolution Pizza has been setting up vending machines for exactly that purpose around London.

The machines are currently located in Angel, Plumstead, Croydon and Hanwell and produce two types of pizza – margherita or pepperoni.

The machines promise that the pizza will be ready in under five minutes – so providing that it isn’t raining, it doesn’t seem too bad to stand there waiting.

After the allotted time, the vending machine will produce a cardboard container with a metal lid and (hopefully) have a pizza inside.

A margherita will set you back £10, while a pepperoni comes in at a humble £11 – so if you’re in a rush at the end of the day, this new way of getting dinner might come in handy.

Will this idea take off? Well, it will presumably depend on how well these initial four machines do, and then we might see them popping up around the country.

Speaking of pizza, last month Pizza Hut launched its biggest-ever slices after unveiling their 16-inch pizzas.

They come with six slices – so given the size, you can imagine just how big these slices are… which sounds like a great time.

Available in Margarita and Pepperoni flavours, with an added option to  ‘create your own’ pizza with any two toppings, you can bag the new New Yorker pizzas for £15.99 via delivery, or £13.99 via collection.

Being able to feed your mates or family for under £20 is a bit of a steal, particularly when it comes to pizza!

The pizzas were launched to coincide with the release of the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie, where you’ll see identical pies being consumed.

There will never be a bad way to consume pizza.
