Man makes terrible cheese sandwich for daughter and the internet is rinsing him

A mum has sparked a hilarious reaction online after she posted a picture of a cheese sandwich her husband made for their daughter.

Taking to Reddit, the mum described the result as “sad” before attaching a picture of a sorry excuse for a butty you will ever see.

From the image, you can clearly see two slices of white bread with no spread, just a few specks of cheese in an uneven layer on top.

Who knows what was going through this man’s head when he put that together?

It’s safe to say the mum was not impressed – and neither was the internet with hundreds of users banding together to poke fun at the lame lunch item.

“This is a Wish Sandwich,” commented one user, referring to the website that sells dupes of expensive products for affordable prices, though they are often of lower quality too.

Another responded to the comment by saying: “Why’s it called a wish sandwich? Cause you’re gonna wish there was more s*** on it.”

And this user summed it up pretty well: “Bread with a pinch of cheese.”

This user asked, “Where’s the cheese?” to which other users replied back with: “You really have to zoom in to see it. I mean, a lot.”

Another joked that it was “under the sauce” when clearly there was absolutely no sauce on that abomination of a sandwich.

“Fire and replace him,” advised another Reddit-goer before someone else added: “That’s ex-husband material right there.”

Another person took it one step further and suggested that he goes “straight to jail” for his lack of effort.

We agree. Where are the butty police when you need them? 

While this sandwich may not be up there with the greats, we’ve actually seen some other pretty unique examples online… including this one, which appears to be a staple over in Germany.

Yep, one Twitter user posted a picture of a plain looking sandwich with raw pork and a few onions on it, writing: “Worst example. You could have thrown up the cannibal sandwich.”

However, other users came to clarify that it was actually a breakfast staple in that part of Europe.
