People are making McFlurry hash brown sandwiches

We thought dunking fries into a McFlurry was our ultimate guilty pleasure, but we take that innovation and raise you a McFlurry Hash Brown Sandwich…

Yup, the McFlurry Hash Brown Sandwich reared its head on TikTok of late, and we’re kind of obsessed with it, tbh.

TikToker Kelly Arvan was the first to debut the quirky new dish, telling viewers: “I dreamt about this.”

She added that it was “salty, crunchy, potatoey [and] sweet,” which actually sounds quite nice… unless we’re going mad?

The food blogger originally made the creation with an Oreo McFlurry, which she dubbed “10 out of 10”.

Then, she made the same thing again with M&M McFlurry, which she claimed was a seven out of 10. Still worth a try, we’d say.

“That’s like a 2-year-old’s party in a sandwich,” she told those watching.

Reacting to the creation, crowds appeared to be divided.

Some were super on board.

“This actually looks so good,” wrote one person in the comments.

Whilst another wrote: “This is actually so smart it’s like fries and milkshakes.”

“GAME CHANGER!!,” penned someone else.

However, others weren’t quite as enthused.

“I don’t think chocolate belongs on hash browns,” wrote one.

Whilst another agreed: “Why is everybody doing this? This cannot be that good.”

“I didn’t like it,” said someone else who tried it. Can’t win ’em all, ey?

Despite scepticism from some, there were many who took the trend and ran with it.

TikTok user Jordan Howlett, who does videos about fast-food secrets, took the original video one step further and added bacon into the mix.

“That was the most life-changing thing I’ve had in my life,” he said. Quite a claim!

Of course, the caveat is you do need to be in a country that serves hash browns and McFlurries at the same time (and that’s not the UK, sob).

Australia is one of the countries where this is a thing, and we couldn’t be more jealous.

Aussies can get hash browns around the clock are part of an all day menu – and it doesn’t stop at hash browns, either.

As well as the breakfast staple, you can order chicken nuggets, a Big Mac, Cheeseburger or a Double Cheeseburger, as well as fries whenever you like.

We’d take nuggets for breakfast and hash browns for dinner, just for the fun of it.
