What is the Cardi B McDonald’s meal and is it available in the UK?

The Cardi B McDonald’s meal is all the rage at the moment, but in case you missed it, we’ve got the deets.

Yep, the WAP singer has only gone and launched her own collaboration with Maccies, alongside her husband, Offset, offering up both of their fast-food favourites in a bundle.

In addition, the famous duo have also released their own range of merchandise with the Golden Arches.

Here’s everything we know about Cardi B’s McDonald’s meal.

What is the Cardi B McDonald’s meal?

The Cardi B McDonald’s meal is made up of the following menu items:

• Cheeseburger
• Side of BBQ sauce
• Quarter Pounder with cheese
• Portion of large fries
• Two large drinks
• An apple pie

The meal is inspired by Cardi B and her husband Offset’s favourite date night order, and launched for a limited time to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Offset is partial to the Quarter Pounder with extra cheese and a Hi-C Orange Lavaburst, meanwhile Cardi opts for a cheeseburger dipped in BBQ sauce and a Coca Cola. The pair typically share fries and an apple pie, too.

The price of the Cardi B McDonald’s meal varies by US state, but $13.49 (£11.21) seems to be the average cost. McDonald’s haven’t said how long the promotion will run for, but given it was a Valentine’s promotion, we’d suggest grabbing yours before the end of February so you don’t miss out.

“In honour of the season of love, we’re serving up the first-ever celebrity duo meal with lifelong McDonald’s fans – Cardi B and Offset,” McDonald’s said in a statement. They added that the meal is “perfect for sharing” no matter whether it’s with bae or your bestie.

Sounds dreamy, right? Mind you, we wouldn’t be sharing fries with anyone….

Is the Cardi B McDonald’s meal available in the UK?

If you live in the UK, you’ll have to settle for just ordering all of the items included in the Cardi B McDonald’s meal individually.

This is because the promotion is only a US offer right now, via the McDonald’s App, drive-thru and McDelivery.

The Valentine’s deal was also running to accompany their Superbowl ad, which aired on Sunday 13th February.

This means those in the UK won’t be able to get their hands on the bundle as part of the promotion.

The Cardi B and Offset McDonald’s merchandise is available online via a special website, and features the likes of t-shirts, hats, sweatshirts and shorts.

Where can I watch the Cardi B and Offset McDonald’s advert?

Featuring Cardi B and Offset alongside eight other couples, the ad originally aired at the Super Bowl 2023, which is also the place the duo’s relationship both sparked back in 2017.

In the clip named “Knowing Their Order”, you can see the music legends discuss each other’s favourite menu items. Alongside the other couples, Cardi notes that Offset likes his burger with “no onions, just cheese,” proving that your order really is a love language your other half learns (BRB, off to test our significant other immediately.)

“What’s mine is hers,” Offset says directly to the camera. “Ain’t no stealing.”

“Whether it’s going for a date night or grabbing a bite after late-night studio sessions… I’m always asking Offset to take me to McDonald’s,” Cardi B said shortly after the advert was released.

“And now, Offset and I have a meal named after us! I want all my fans to try it – especially with that BBQ sauce.”

What other celebrities have their own McDonald’s meals?

Cardi B and Offset join several famous faces who have teamed up with McDonald’s to make meals.

Back in 2020, rapper Travis Scott became the first celeb to launch his own meal since Michael B Jordan in 1992, with an offering consisting of a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon, and lettuce; a medium order of fries; BBQ sauce; and a Sprite.

Since then, we’ve also seen the likes of Saweetie, BTS, J Balvin, and none other than Mariah Carey offering their own McDonald’s meals.

Mariah’s menu was available for Christmas (duh) and varied from other celeb collaborations as it featured a different free item each day for 12 days, when customers spent at least a dollar on the McDonald’s mobile app.
