Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

Ah, mince pies. Along with roast potatoes and pigs in blankets, they’re unquestionably one of the best things about Christmas…

Made of sweet, flaky pastry and spiced dried fruit, if you’re anything like us, you probably eat them by the bucket load over the holiday period.

But what if you could take your mince pie habit to another level?

Listen up, because you can now buy a tipple that tastes like the festive snack, and it sounds like a literal dream.

Available across the UK at the budget store B&M for £19.99, the 70cl bottle, created by Whitley Neill, is described as a gin that “instantly evokes the festive season with aromas of rich mince pies and a touch of citrus.”

You should expect a “sweet taste with hints of mince pies with raisins, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg all adding to the Christmassy taste.”

Meanwhile, the website adds that, “on the end, the juniper delivers a hint of pine Christmas trees.”

If you can’t find a bottle in your local B&M, or you just love it so much you want to order it out and about, too, you will also be able to sample the mince pie gin at select Greene King Pubs around England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

If mince pies aren’t your thing, then you can also order Whitley Neill’s second new seasonal gin, which is flavoured like Black Cherry.

This tipple is said to be inspired by the alcohol brand’s founder, Johnny Neill’s travels to African cherry orchards, and is described as “deep and luscious… with hints of almond and a faint wisp of chocolate”.

The gin can be bought at Tesco, ASDA, and Sainsbury’s for £22.

The new flavours join some old Whitley Neill classics, like Rhubarb and Ginger, Blood Orange, Raspberry, Pineapple and Blackberry, to name a few.
