We didn't think the humble hash brown could get much better, but guess what? It has.

Yup, what's better than a normal hash brown? How about a hash brown plate?!

The marvellous innovation comes from the folks at Iceland, who are known for doing epic things in the hash brown world.

Last year, they released hash brown quarter pounder, and it's safe to say it was a raring success.

But now they've gone one step better, turning the potato disks into a giant plate, big enough to house all your other breakfast bits.

The product was announced on food blog, NewFoodsUK across Facebook and Instagram, and it got a rather epic reaction.

"That's why mums go to Iceland," joked one.

Whilst another said: "Holy F*ckballs."

"I think I'm in love," another said in the comments.

Whilst a fourth gushed: "I've just died and gone to heaven."

The giant hash browns are said to hit shelves in mid April, and will cost £2 a pop.

Andrew Staniland, Group Buying Director at Iceland & The Food Warehouse said of the launch: "We’re so excited for the launch of the Iceland Ridiculously Crispy two Plate Sized Hash Browns.

"Customers will officially be able to get their hands on the giant hash browns from early April for only £2.00 – the perfect product to create the ultimate fry-up."

You know we're fans of Iceland here at Twisted... so much that we even released our own products with them last year.

Yep, Iceland was on hand for anyone who has ever drooled over our giant burgers, quirky kebabs, and extravagant pasta dishes.

From lasagne filled Yorkshire puddings to XXL double cheeseburger kebabs, there were some crackers on the lineup.

Read about all that (and the rest of the range) here.

All about hash browns but would rather cook 'em yourself? Well how about our Twisted cheesy pickle hash brown recipe? The only thing better than this would be a plate sized one...
