Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

Hey, you… yes, you! Stop what you’re doing right now because McDonald’s is dropping its new menu and we know you are going to want to try it.

That’s right, the fast food giant is launching not one, not two but six new menu items in branches across the UK today (15th February), and there are some absolute bangers joining their usual line-up.

Available for a six week stint, the Grand Big Mac (£4.89 or £6.49 as a meal) is one of the returning menu items – making a comeback both on its own and with bacon (£5.69 or £7.29 as a meal), depending how hungry you are.

The Grand Big Mac is basically the same as a Big Mac, which features 100 percent beef patties, a slice of cheese, lettuce, onion and pickles and Maccies sauce in a sesame-topped bun.

The difference is, all the components are bigger than the classic version. Can’t argue with that, can you?

Chilli Cheese Bites are also making a limited return. These oozy mouthfuls come in a batter, with a rich tomato dip on the side, and will set you back £2.29 for a single portion or £6.29 for a share-box.

Plus, the McSpicy is back *for good*. Yup, joining the chain’s roster of permanent burgers, customers will be able to get their hands on a spicy chicken breast fillet topped with crunchy cool lettuce and mayo and squeezed into a toasted sesame seed bun for just £4.79, or £6.29 if ordered as a meal.

Maccies has also brought back the Galaxy chocolate and Galaxy Caramel McFlurry.

Both ice creams are selling at £1.99 for a regular pot or £1.49 for mini, and are made out of the brand’s much loved soft dairy ice cream with either chocolate or caramel sauce slathered on top.

As is always the way with a McDonald’s menu shake-up, the new additions mean that some previous limited items are getting the chop.

As a result, the Spicy Sriracha Chicken wraps will no longer be on offer, and neither will the Big Tasty burgers (with or without bacon).

Cheesy Garlic Bites and Aero Peppermint McFlurries will also be dropping off the menu for now, as will two hot drinks: the Caramel Waffle Latte and the Hot Chocolate Deluxe.

Still, you can’t deny the new menu is delivering the goods. Lunchtime Maccies trip, anyone?
