The awards might be the main event, but the food served after the Academy Awards is almost just as legendary.

Now the menu for the ultra-exclusive Oscars 2026 Governors Ball afterparty has reportedly been revealed, and it looks like Hollywood’s biggest stars will be feasting on more than 70 different dishes once the ceremony wraps up.

The enormous spread is overseen every year by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, who has been in charge of the Oscars’ post-show catering for over three decades.

For this year's bash, he and his team recently hosted a preview, revealing they have designed a menu big enough to feed around 1,500 guests, including nominees, presenters and industry VIPs heading straight from the red carpet to the afterparty.

Despite the glitz, the menu actually leans heavily into comfort food. Crowd-favourite bites reportedly include mini wagyu burgers, chicken pot pie, macaroni and cheese and smoked salmon pizza – dishes that have become staples of the star-studded celebration.

But it wouldn’t be Hollywood without a few luxury touches. Guests are also expected to find high-end ingredients scattered across the menu, including Kaluga caviar, dry-aged ribeye and huge quantities of smoked salmon.

In fact, the kitchen is said to go through around 30 pounds of caviar and hundreds of pounds of cheese and mushrooms while preparing the feast.

This year’s party is also set to feature a few interactive stations, including a Japanese-style izakaya counter and a gelato machine serving freshly made Italian ice cream throughout the night.

Pulling off the feast requires a kitchen operation almost as intense as the ceremony itself. Around 75 savoury chefs, 45 pastry chefs and more than 300 staff work behind the scenes to prepare thousands of individual plates in just a few hours.

And of course, no Oscars party would be complete without the famous chocolate Oscar statuettes.

The pastry team produces thousands of miniature edible trophies finished with edible gold, so guests can literally take home a sweet version of the award.

Safe to say, even if someone doesn’t walk away with an Oscar, they’re still leaving the party with a pretty decent consolation prize: a plate full of wagyu sliders and maybe a chocolate statue or two.
