People are just discovering this Five Guys milkshake menu hack

The Five Guys menu is pretty great as it is, but did you know there's a bunch of menu hacks to make it even better?

The American burger chain actually allows you to customise most of its menu items, and people are just discovering how you can make your milkshakes better than ever before...

Yup, you might be aware that Five Guys just switched out its pistachio milkshakes to add two new flavours — mango and raspberry.

But you don't just have to have a shake with one flavour...

Metro recently reported that there's a milkshake trick that loads of customers are missing out on, and we wanted to ensure you knew about it (aren't we nice?)

According to the spokesperson, you can mix and match any of the milkshake flavours to create your own unique shake.

Pretty nifty, eh?

"Our decadent milkshakes are completely customisable. Customers can combine any of the mix-ins, allowing over 1,000 ways for them to fully enjoy their delicious shake from our existing ingredients list," a Five Guys rep told the publication.

"Those feeling adventurous can mix all 11 ingredients. Yes, that does include bacon! You can create some phenomenal flavours with our combinations."

Bacon and mango milkshake, anyone? Hey, we'll try anything once...

Other flavours to dive into on the Five Guys milkshake menu include raspberry, Biscoff, bacon, vanilla, strawberry, salted caramel, mango, chocolate, banana, Oreo cookie pieces, and peanut butter.

Just think of all the variations you could make with that?!

On Twitter, people are sharing their favourite milkshake combos, to give you some inspiration.

One user said banana and salted caramel was their go-to (sounds pretty epic to us), whilst there were multiple call-outs for vanilla and bacon, too.

Strawberry, chocolate and banana was another, somewhat predictable, classic.

Meanwhile, chocolate and peanut butter was another fave.
