Ingredients

Pumpkin:

1/2 tinpumpkin puree

1 tbsppumpkin spice mix (cinnamon, ginger, all spice, nutmeg, cloves)

1 tbspbrown sugar

Cocktail:

1 tbspspiced pumpkin puree

50mlcoffee liqueur

25mlvodka

50mlespresso

50mlcoffee creamer

Coffee beans, to garnish

Cinnamon, to garnish

The pumpkin here is optional, you can leave it out and just add a pumpkin spice syrup, but we really love the flavour it gives to the cocktail!

Method

To a small pan, add the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and spices. Mix over medium heat, and cook for a few minutes until the sugar has dissolved. It should have darkened in colour. Allow to cool.

Fill up a cocktail shaker with ice. To the shaker, add the pumpkin, coffee liqueur, vodka, creamer, and finally, freshly brewed espresso.

Shake vigorously for 15-30 seconds.

Immediately strain over a glass, top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and whole coffee beans. Enjoy!
