Ingredients

  • 400gprawns
  • 3spring onions
  • 1 small pieceginger
  • 3cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tspsoy sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 4brioche burger buns
  • 3 tbsp eachwhite and black sesame seeds

It may not be one of life's biggest questions, but we've answered it with our stuffed prawn toast buns. These are basically just brioche buns cut almost the whole way through and then stuffed with prawn toast mix, rolled in sesame seeds. So simple, so good, so damn easy. You can use an air fryer for these, too.

Method

  • Add all the ingredients (except the brioche buns and sesame seeds, obvs) and pulse until you have a paste.
  • Split the buns nearly all the way through, then fill them generously with the mixture. Roll in the sesame seeds and brush off any extra.
  • Place them in the air fryer and crank up the heat to 180°C. Air fry for around 12 minutes or until completely cooked through.
  • Serve with sweet chilli sauce.
  • What do you think of the recipe?
