Salted Caramel Ritz Cracker Freezer Cake

The perfect mixture of salty, crunchy, sweet and creamy!

Ingredients

  • 450gCream Cheese
  • 200gSugar
  • 180mlExtra Whipping Cream
  • 2 BoxesRitz Crackers
  • Caramel Sauce

Layers of salty ritz crackers married together with sweet caramel and heaps of cheesecake style cream. 

Method

  • Place cream cheese in a large bowl and use a hand-held mixer to beat it until smooth and fluffy. Add sugar and beat until smooth.
  • Add heavy cream and vanilla, beat until thick and fluffy.
  • Line an 8-inch square baking dish with plastic wrap. Arrange Ritz crackers on the bottom.
  • Spread 1/3 of the cream cheese mixture on top of the crackers and then drizzle some caramel sauce on top.
  • Repeat with another layer of crackers, then cream cheese mixture and caramel sauce..
  • Place one last layer of crackers on top.
  • Pipe the last of your cream cheese
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
  • Serve drizzled with caramel sauce and more crushed Ritz
