Ingredients

  • 4 TubesPremade Cinnamon Swirls Dough
  • 1 JarSeedless Strawberry Jam
  • Sugar Paste/Fondant
  • Food Colouring (Pink, Yellow, Brown)

This ones a quick hack with a showstopping finish that will make your guests happily gross out then dig in! We've taken cinnamon swirl dough and baked them in to tasty intestines, smothered with strawberry jam. Then for an extra spooky touch covered the whole thing with sugarpaste skin ready for you to slice open!

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180ÂșC (fan assisted) and grease a shallow tray.
  • Roll out the premade dough and sprinkle over the cinnamon sugar before slicing into thinner 1" strips.
  • Place your strips in a windy pattern onto the greased tray then bake in the oven for around 15 mins or until golden brown.
  • While cooling pour over the jam and brush across covering the all the golden dough. If your jam is too set pour over some hot water and stir until desired consistency is reached.
  • To kneeded sugar paste add yellow, pink and brown food colouring to create a skin like colour. Then roll out with a rolling pin until wide enough to cover the entire tray.
  • Lay the sugar paste sheet over the top and trim around the sides any extra below the rim.
  • For added detail you can add a blob of sugar paste in the center and mould into a belly button shape using cake tool or a simple lollypop stick.
  • To serve, slice open in front of your guests for full effect, peel open the 'skin' and dive right in!
