Cadbury launches mint flavoured Twirl

Cadbury has only gone and launched a brand new twist on its classic Twirl chocolate bar, and it’s one for all the mint chocolate lovers.

Yup, you can now get your hands on a Twirl Mint chocolate bar, and we’re going to be stocking up immediately.

As you’d expect, the bar is the same flakey layered milk chocolate in a smooth outer casing, only it’s lightly infused with refreshing mint, too.

The chocolate bar is dropping in UK shops nationwide from 1st May, selling for 75p.

They’ll only be available as a very limited run, and once they’re gone they’re gone, so we’d suggest getting yours as soon as you can.

Mint chocolate is one of those flavours that divides the crowds, but those who love it love it, and we have a feeling these will fly off shelves.

Ahead of the release Cadbury is also offering a limited number of people the chance to be try the new bar first, giving away 1,000 Twirl Mints to mint chocolate fans without them having to pay a penny.

All they have to do is keep an eye on Cadbury social pages, answer a series of “Twirly hard questions to test your dedication to mint chocolate” and then you could be in with a chance of winning.

Frederike Grohmann, Brand Manager for Cadbury Twirl, said: “We are excited to be introducing Twirl Mint into the Cadbury brand family this month. The minty flavours might transport you back to the 80s, but in its indulgently Twirly format we’re expecting mint chocolate fans will want to run to shops to try it.

“There’s only a limited number available, so we’d encourage the greatest of mint chocolate and Twirl fans to act fast, and as for anyone else, save it for the mint chocolate superfans!”

This isn’t the first time Cadbury has jazzed up the classic Twirl, as they also released Twirl Orange last year, which was an instant hit.

Mint chocolate seems to be all the rage ATM, as this news comes just days after we told you about the mint flavoured Terry’s Chocolate Orange which is meant to launch this summer.
