Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

You may well judge us for Christmas shopping already, but there’s so much cracking food in the shops at the moment that we simply can’t help it.

We’ve already told you about Häagen-Dazs’ festive dessert themed ice creams and Bisto’s pigs in blanket flavoured gravy, but the fun doesn’t stop there… oh, no.

Don’t do your Crimbo shopping without stocking up on some Jaffa Cake flavoured vodka, too. It is the season to be jolly, after all.

From the brand Zesty Spirits, the booze is flavoured like your favourite chocolate orange snack, and to make it even more festive there are notes of cranberry in there, too.

The drink is said to have fruity notes of orange up front before a smack of sweet berries hit your tongue. Rich and slightly bitter, there are also tasty hints of chocolate in each sip, as well as festive cranberry and aromatic vanilla.

Sounds like a dream to us!

The Jaffa Cake cranberry vodka isn’t officially from McVitie’s, instead it’s a bespoke tipple inspired by the much loved treat.

Perfect as a Christmas present for a loved one or just as an addition to the drinks cabinet ahead of the holidays, the tipple is available from booze website Master of Malt for £27.95.

If you’re after your vodka a little less festive, you can also order the same drink without the addition of cranberry, and there’s another bottle with added passion fruit, selling at the same price, too.

The exciting product launch comes just weeks after Jaffa Cake themselves announced a collaboration with Krispy Kreme, bringing Jaffanuts to stores up and down the UK.

The Jaffanut was made up of Krispy Kreme’s “signature soft dough”,  filled with Jaffa Cakes’ beloved orange flavoured filling. Plus, it was topped with a delicious dark chocolate glaze.

The doughnuts were only released as part of a limited offer last month, so you’re unlikely to find one now.

Still, it’s been quite a year for Jaffa Cake fanatics, that’s for sure.
