McDonald’s launches Valentine’s chicken McNugget boxes

How better to say ‘I love you’ than with chicken nuggets, right? Or should we say ‘I’m lovin’ you’…
That’s right, McDonald’s has launched a brand new Valentine’s Day Chicken McNugget box, so you can gift your loved one a Maccies on February 14th.
The promotion is running in Australia between February 8th and the 14th, and during that time customers will be able to get the Valentine’s Day box filled with 10 McNuggets in store and via McDelivery.

Forgotten to buy a present? Well, forget about the petrol station flowers or a box of chocolates… Aussies can just open up the McDonald’s app and they’ll do the rest for you. Aren’t they lucky.
McDonald’s Valentine’s Day McNugget Box
The box has the words “I love you” written on it in 10 different languages, to reflect McDonald’s diverse customer base.
You can find those three little words inscribed in Arabic, Vietnamese, English, Greek, Italian, Chinese, Punjabi, Filipino/Tagalog, Hindi, and Spanish.
Maxine Netrayana, Senior Brand Manager at McDonald’s Australia, said: “Everyone has their own way of saying ‘I love you.’
“It’s the perfect way to treat yourself or spread a little love this Valentine’s Day, whether it’s with your friends, family, or someone special.”
The Valentine’s Chicken McNugget box hit Aussie shelves last year and was an instant hit, so there is no surprise it is back again for another limited run.

McDonald’s Australia free Valentine’s McNuggets
That’s not all, folks. As well as the McDonald’s Australia Valentine’s Chicken McNugget box, stores in Aus are offering people free nugs on large purchases in the run up to February 14th.
In celebration of the limited edition box, customers will get a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets box with all orders over $30 (£17.33) via Uber Eats.
The deal begins on February 8th, and if you’re a local you’d better be quick, as it’s only running for a limited time.
Is McDonald’s Valentine’s McNugget box coming to the UK?
As nifty as the new Maccies Valentine’s Chicken McNugget box is (and the free ‘nugs promotion, for that matter), the bad news is there are no plans to bring it to the UK right now.
The box is only running as part of an Australian promotion – still, here’s hoping it’s a roaring success and they decide to bring it over here next year.
