McDonald’s is adding five new items to its menu today

The day has arrived, people! McDonald’s new menu arrives today, featuring five drool-worthy new menu items.

Yup, we told you about the exciting new drop a while ago, but today is the day you get to try it, with the return of some old favourites and a brand new addition hitting UK branches.

The most exciting news is the Chicken Big Mac’s comeback, seeing as fans have been begging for it ever since it made its brief debut back in February 2022.

In case you need a reminder, the Chicken Big Mac (£4.49 of £6.09 for a meal) is basically made up of “two deliciously crispy coated chicken patties made with chicken breast meat, a slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles and tasty Big Mac sauce”. Yum.

The Chicken Big Mac joins the brand new Steakhouse Stack burger (£5.39 or £6.99 as a meal) made up of of two beef patties, a slice of cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onions, and lettuce, and is topped with a creamy peppercorn sauce, all in a freshly toasted bun.

Plus, fans can rejoice as Mozzarella Dippers (£2.19 or £6.19 as a sharebox) and the Cadbury Creme Egg McFlurry (£1.99) are also back in Maccies.

Thomas O’Neill, Head of Marketing at McDonald’s UK and Ireland said: “We are excited to bring the Chicken Big Mac back to the UK and Ireland. It sold out in under a week last year so we know so many people will be as delighted as we are that it’s returning this Spring.

Oh, and whilst you’re there, make sure you get yourself a drink, too.

That’s because McDonald’s new game, Winning Sips, launches today as well, and it provides chances to win some truly epic prizes, ranging anywhere from a free food item to £10,000.
