Woman calls out Coachella's 'criminal' food prices after forking out £50 for 'two burritos and cucumber water'

A Coachella punter has sent the internet into a frenzy after sharing the food they got at the festival... and the rather shocking prices of the food and drink.
Now, food is always a little on the pricy side at festivals – we know this – but the post has raised eyebrows, as people realised just how much the Californian desert festival was charging for pretty basic fare.
TikToker Jackie Tanti was the one to share her meal, revealing she'd ordered two burritos and a cucumber drink for nearly £50.
Jackie actually shared a similar excruciating Coachella food bill on her feed last year, telling the internet that three items had racked up a $64 (£51) cost.
And in her most recent video, she said the Mexican meal and small tipple had cost her the same again this year. Big yikes.
In the clip, you can see that the burritos are sizeable enough, but it's still hard to imagine they could be anywhere near 20 quid each.
"Capitalism is crazy and I am a part of the problem," she says in the vid.

"$64 ?! I’m so screwed," said one person in the comments.
Whilst another wrote: "That's insane".
"F*ckin wild," fumed a third, as a fourth moaned: "Criminal".
Jackie isn't alone either, as another Coachella attendee took to Twitter to share the drinks prices on site.
The tweet reads: "Wonder why US salaries are skyrocketing? Look at these Coachella prices."

It goes on to detail how a single Absolut Vodka costs an eye-watering $17 (£13.66) while a double will set you back $28 (£22.51).
A White Claw Hard Seltzer Black Cherry is also likely to break the bank, at a price of $16 (£13), whilst a glass of sauvignon blanc is $17 (£14).
Coachella ticket prices are already hefty enough as it is, costing between $499 (£401) and $599 (£482) without even counting the additional fees.
And the backlash about price of food which kicked off last year doesn't appear to have done much to appease vendors this time around.
Ngl, we're still jealous of everyone there, though...
